Partnership with TennisMatch

Cooperation model training platform for juniors

The TM format is also very well suited as a training platform for juniors. In addition to the weekly tennis lesson, each player receives 4-6 training matches over a period of 6-8 weeks against opponents of equal strength. So that these matches can be organized efficiently, we suggest "short set" "no add" and match tie-break in the 3rd set. This way, a match can be finished in 60 This platform can be set up within or across clubs. The prerequisites for a successful platform are

  • self-organized and designed for a duration of at least 6 - 8 weeks.
  • If possible, a round robin will be started followed by a short knockout phase and a final (1 game per category)
  • The training manager is a strong communicator and closely monitors the progress of the tournament via the TennisMatch portal. He intervenes if the "soft deadlines" are not met
  • The players are available (partly also during the week) and willing to fulfill their duties as host or guest
  • The club announces when the juniors may play their matches (i.e. not in the evening)

The following conditions must also be in place:

  • Willingness of parents to help (e.g. operating the app, dropping off/picking up)
  • Support from the club (communication, prizes, organization of the final day, etc.)
  • Contact person on site or via telephone (hotline) to resolve questions.

Cooperation model for regional associations

Organizing a self-organized tournament is challenging, as several clubs and centers are involved. For the first tournament, we therefore work in partnership with the clubs and regional associations. The division of tasks between TennisMatch and our partner is usually as follows:

In this partnership, the profit or loss is divided equally at the end of the tournament.

Development of the cooperation model

After a successful test phase, the regional association usually gradually takes on more responsibility. The aim is that after 3 tournaments TennisMatch will only act as a licensor and technical partner and stay out of the operational tournament business.

The figure below shows an example of the transfer of responsibilities from TennisMatch to a regional association on the time axis.

In this partnership, the profit or loss is initially divided equally. As the partnership continues, the distribution of profits also changes in favor of the partner, if possible. TennisMatch is interested in withdrawing from the operational side of a tournament after at least 3 years.
