The GC Spring Trophy 2025 is a self-organized tennis tournament for licensed and non-licensed players of the GC Couvert
- Qualification (Round Robin) and main round (KO phase)
- min. 3, max. 5 matches within 7 weeks
- 2 strength classes (League A and League B) with groups of 4 and/or 5
- Game mode: 2 - winning sets of 4 games; 3rd set match tie break (7) ; "no Ad"
- the group winners progress to the main round
- Match duration limited to 60 min.
- ranking relevant matches possible via Match up from Swisstennis, if both agree
Prerequisite for participation
You are eligible to participate if you
- are readily available in February, March and until mid-April,
- are at least 16 years old.
Prices
- The group winners will receive a Beliani voucher worth CHF 50.
Match organization and procedure
- Immediately after the draw (February 20), your group and your matches will be visible here (and later on the notice board in the GC)
- Appointment with opponent
- Court reservation on the GotCourts system (1h).
- Conduct of the match: Playing mode: 2 - winning sets of 4 games (*); 3rd set match tie break (7) ; "no Ad" (**)
- Results are entered on the GC notice board. The ranking list is based on a) the number of matches won b) the number of sets won c) the number of games won c) drawing of lots
(*) please start counting at 2 - 2.
(**) " No Ad" means that if the score is deuce, the next point counts towards winning or losing the game. The return player may decide which side to serve to.

- Registration deadline: February 19, 6:00 p.m.
- Draw: February 20, 10:00 a.m.
- Group matches: February 22 - March 30 (5 weeks)
- Main Round & Finals: March 31 - April 13 (2 weeks)
