Regionale Solothurn Sommer Trophy 2024 (kurz: RSST24)
Description
Die RSST24 ist die erste selbst-organisierte, app-unterstützte Meisterschaft des RV Solothurn Tennis. Gespielt wird zeitlich und örtlich flexibel während der Woche und an den Wochenenden von Juni bis September.
Die Trophy teilt sich auf in zwei Cluster Solothurn und Olten. Jeder Cluster besteht aus einer Qualifikations -Phase und einer Hauptrunde. Pro Kategorie qualifizieren sich die Gruppensieger*innen und -zweiten für die Hauptrunde. Für die Kategorien Sieger/innen der beiden Cluster treffen am 14. September im Super-Finale aufeinander (Final-Ort wird noch bekannt gegeben). Dies ist dann auch der einzige fixe Termin des Turniers. Insgesamt hast Du also die Möglichkeit mindestens 3, maximal 8 ranking-relevante Matches zu spielen.
Achtung: Meldung bezgl .App
Bei der Version 1.16.2 der TM-App wurde am 14/6 ein Bug beim Chat eingeführt. Wir haben am 16/6 Morgen die Version 1.16.3 der TM-App released. Nach einem Update auf die Version 1.16.3 sollte wieder alles funktionieren.
Hinsichtlich der Kontaktaufnahme: Für den Fall, dass der Gegner auf Chat-Nachrichten nicht reagiert, haben wir bereits zur Sommersaison 2023 eine Call-Funktion eingeführt. Auf jeder Match Karte hat es oben links ein Telefonsymbol. Sofern uns die Natel-Nummer des Gegners bekannt ist, kann dieser durch einen Klick auf das Telefonsymbol angerufen werden. Ist uns die Nummer nicht bekannt, dann ist das Symbol deaktiviert.

How does it work?
In der Qualifikation wird selbstorganisiert in 4er-Gruppen gespielt; d.h. Du hast 8 Wochen Zeit um 3 ranking-relevante Matches zu spielen.
If a player can only play twice in the group phase and does not make it to the main round, he is entitled to one more classification match. This means that the official organizes another match against an opponent of approximately equal strength.
In der der Hauptrunde werden pro Kategorie und Cluster je nach Anzahl Teilnehmer*innen die 1/4 , 1/2 Finals und das Finale gespielt. Jedes Match wird auch hier von Spieler*innen selbst organisiert. Das im Swiss Tennis Tableau angegebene Datum ist der letztmögliche Termin.
Im Super-Finale spielen dann pro Kategorie die Cluster Sieger gegeneinander.
Game mode
- Two winning sets are played; the 3rd set is a match tiebreak (10).
- "No Ad", i.e. in the case of a deuce, the next ball decides who wins the game. The returner decides which side to serve on.
- The maximum play-in time is 10 minutes
The Swiss Tennis Tournament Regulations (TUR) and, in addition, the TennisMatch Regulations apply. In addition, the ITF rules for play without an umpire apply (see here)
Procedure
- Nach der Auslosung erhalten die Teilnehmenden per mail einen link, mit welchem sie nach Eingabe des Usernames und des Passwortes die TennisMatch App (TM-App) für iOS und Android hinunterladen können.
- Kontaktaufnahme mit den Gegnern via Chat-Funktion in der TM-App.
- Make an appointment and enter the match date in the TM app.
- Platzreservation durch den/die Gastgeber/-in im Heimclub Club oder Partner-Center. Die Center-Platzmiete (2 Stunden) ist im Nenngeld inbegriffen.
- Durchführung der Begegnung (Der Gastgeber bringt 1 Dose (neue) Bälle)
- Entering results in the TM app.
Guest/host model
- contact the opponent promptly via TM chat
- einen Termin zu vereinbaren,
- den Platz in Deinem Heimclub oder Center zu reservieren
- (neue) Bälle (1 Dose) mitzubringen und last but not least
- nach dem Match das Resultat über die TennisMatch App dem Official zu melden.

Invitation to tender
- The two players agree on the match dates using the TM app. The agreed date is binding and can only be adjusted by mutual agreement.
- Deregistrations: It is possible to cancel online at Swiss Tennis or by e-mail to the tournament management before the draw. If a withdrawal is made after the draw, the player remains liable to pay.
- Balls: The "host" brings new balls (official Swiss Tennis balls).
- Pitches/surfacing:
- it is played outdoors on different surfaces
- if both opponents agree, it is also possible to play indoors in a center for an additional charge
- Multiple entries: Participation is possible in a maximum of two categories. The entry fee is charged per category.
- Merging of categories: Excess registrations will be treated according to the date of registration. If there are too few registrations, competitions will be merged if possible.
- Insurance: Is the responsibility of the participants

About the TennisMatch app
Chat with your opponent and make an appointment with him/her. After the match, enter the result in the TennisMatch app.
After the draw, the "host" receives an invitation on the app to organize the match. At the same time, the guest receives a message that the host will approach them. The prerequisite is, of course, that both have the TennisMatch app installed. You can find it under the keyword "Tennis Match" in the respective iOS and Android app stores.
